It were not the supporters of his party – if they’re still there – who asked for this. There was no court case, and no debate about freedom of speech. It were the owners of the gallery who felt ‘misled and abused’ by the artists. Mr. Berlusconi was ‘a good friend’ of them and ‘a client.’
